Hey Fellas,
Yesterday we finally went for my birthday dive.
My mate Steve was bitten by a mad dog roughly 2 weeks ago so we had to stay calm
until the wound was completely healed up.
Steve's mate Owen joined us as well and we had a couple of great dives.
It was quite a pleasure to dive without students. Just 3 diving instructors on their own.

Birthday in Thailand

Hi Guys,
Like you probably know I left Germany late last week and I'm hanging out in Pattaya at the moment.
I don't wanna say anything about Thailand at the moment because Pattaya isn't a place for me.
At the moment I'm working on a few projects to get my business growing.
Today I will try to fix a problem at a customers place in Australia and if I get it I have
to support another customer over there as well.
In the meantime I will build up a new website for my company and get more people involved so
we get quite a big network of IT guys all over the place :)
Roughly Thursday next week I'm heading off to Bangkok for an IT meeting with an IT company
and straight down to Phuket after.
Phuket will be totally different to Pattaya and I will go for some days off.
At least I hope so :)

My mates and I celebrated my birthday quite well with a free BBQ and pub hopping :)
here in Thailand.
We ended up in an Australian bar there we watched the final formula one grand prix.
Hope you stay tuned over the next weeks.
Yours Rob

Couple weeks ago I had two dives with my old class mate Markus Rohrschneider and his
girlfriend Clauida in the Kulkwitzer See near Leipzig.
It were my first fresh water dives.

VEB business car

Last Saturday I got VEB business car delivered by the ADAC...
If you missing the car at the trailer I got the one was sitting at the back of the
trailer!!!
The engine is totaled.
The garage in Switzerland told my mate that is just a think of a day or two and
should be done with few bucks...
I didn't believed it and so I had a look by myself...
The end of the story you can see quite easily in the photos.
The camshaft is gone also the wheel to run the camshaft.
And since it was happening while the engine was running I expect a few more problems.
So I pulled the engine in bits and got two damaged valves.
To get the engine back running again we will spend about 800€ and I do anything
by myself expect changing the valves what will do my cousin for me.

I feel sorry and would like to say THANKS for your company and hope to see you
again.
Please enjoy your stay on Rhodes and keep in touch.
He is a legend in the kitchen ;-)

Hi Fella´s,
There is not a lot of news to tell.
We still haven't got a boat yet, so all we can do is what you
see in the picture ....tough eh ?
And we get paid for it !
The guy next to me is Steve, a PADI Master Instructor and supposed
to drive the boat...

last weekend

Last week I did the first three pool sessions with a Greek for his
Open Water Course.
Friday night he took me out to Rhodes Downtown and we catched up
with a few of his friends. Great guys.
And he drunk a lot of Sambuca.
Saturday night about 9:30pm I picked up my boss from the airport.
He just went away for few days.
He told me that one of the other Instructors will arrive on Sunday
morning about 4:30am. So I cleaned up the room and made this bed
ready to go because the must been really tired since he was
travelling the half night...
Sunday morning I was running for about one hour and as I came
back home Steve was up already. Great Buddy.
About 11am I went out for my first dive here.
The water has about 18°C, not exactly what I had at the reef in OZ.
We did a Deep Dive down to 32m and all we saw was a Lobster.
And a Lobster isn't pretty spectacular...
In the afternoon I walked in town with Steve and was running for
another hour.
Currently its pretty quiet and we try to keep our mood in a
positive way.
The boat should be here in the next few days.
We will see.

Currently I run a Open Water Course with a locale guy. He lifes in Rhoedes Downtown
is an IT-Guy and DJ as well ;-)
The water here is much colder as at the reef in OZ but I get used to it.
We also got some amazing caves, sink holes and a wreck as well.
The weather is great since a couple of days. So we talk about sunny days with 28°C.
The season kicks off and the first few tourists arrived at the island.
This morning I went to Nektarios and bought all the supplements for the kick off to
go back to the gym and keep growing the muscles and reduce the fat at my body ;-)
In case you would like to come over I had a look for a hotel here in town.
